I have encountered this little icon, which I have no idea what means, and I would very much like to fix it so it doesn't show up. Is it a warning or?

This icon means you didn't have enough protection, Make sure you have a full set of any armor....

This is the indicator for "Safe Mode," which prevents blocks from being destroyed by weapons when on. Red means Off. You can change the mode (and if the icon is displayed) in the Techguns inventory tab.
