What is "The Mushroom Update"?
We felt like Mushrooms are underappreciated in Minecraft. They haven't received a meaningful update in years hence why it's time to change this!
This mod is made to really feel like a new update, adding vanilla-like features that are all... Well... Mushroom related!
Alright, what exactly does it add?
This mod adds a variety of new things and re-purposes vanilla features!
Have a summary:
- 4 new items, 3 new blocks (Equipment, food, music utility, blocks, decorations, ...)
- 4 new mobs (Glow Shroom Cow, Glow Fly, Mushroom Pals, Puff Creeper)
- The mobs have incredibly deep new mechanics that allow you to create things you never could before! (Useful for building, combat, redstone and improving general survival gameplay)
- 8 new advancements!
- New Music
- New Painting
- 2 New Biomes
- Shroom Caves, home of the mushroom pals.
- Glow Shroom Caves, a peaceful place where no monsters appear. A safe area for you to restore HP and relax
Return of a fan favourite!
Fireflies make a comeback! Well, they're blue now and called glow flies. They now have a magical ability too!
High Quality
It's not an insanely large mod, it's been in the works for months.
We've made the mod exceptionally high quality creating an ambience that only very few mods will ever match.
Using its deep mechanics and vanilla style, you can enjoy this mod for months as a part of your regular survival worlds!
Trailer textures
A texture pack is included when you download the mod (see your resource pack list ingame). In combination with another pack such as barebones, it'll feel as if you're inside of a new Update Trailer!
