Crash on invasion start (1.18.2)

When an invasion starts chat says that the invasion has started and lists what kind it is, but then the game freezes

By the looks of things, the bug is caused by me not updating the spawn code to work with the new 1.18 chunk loading. I will attempt to release a patch soon! In order to fix the bug in your world for now, try loading the world without the mod on peaceful to see if that fixes the problem. If that doesn't work, then I'm sorry if your world is lost... >.>
Glad to have helped, even though I don't have as much time to code the mod, I still try to decently maintain it :)
I have updated the mod to 1.3.3B, let me know if this helps fix the bug that happened on your server. Sorry about not getting to it sooner as I did not have that much free time to fix it...
