What's in the mod:

From left to right:

The most common and weakest of them all, Garnet Ore is more common than iron, has less durability but is stronger. Has a 45% chance of spawning in veins of 4-8 at Y-Values between 45 and 100.

Topaz Ore! Used for the Topaz Set (Armor & all tools). Can be found in veins of 4-7. All ores spawn only in the Overworld. Has a 10% chance of spawning between Y-values of 5 and 30.

Fire Opal Ore: Has a 7% chance of spawning at Y-Values of 0-25 in veins of 2-5.

Dark Opal Ore: Has a 3% chance of spawning at Y-Values of 0-20 in veins of 2-5.

The rarest of them all (so far), Light Opal Ore. Has a 2% chance of spawning in veins of 2-5 at Y-Values between 0-15

All ores, starting with Topaz and ending with Light Opal, are progressively stronger and have more durability. All are stronger than diamond.

Crops:

You can turn topaz and the opals into shards by putting them into a crafting table. From there, you can combine them with seeds to get the seeds for the respective plants. The plants will yield a few shards on harvest.

Abilities worth noting:
Gains a shield when below half hp that repels projectile damage

When he dies, sends out pulses of dark energy that progressively darken your screen and set the time to night. On the final pulse, all animals within a certain radius are corrupted.

Dimension and Structure (WIP)

You'll need to craft a Dark Teleporter staff to enter the dimension.

The structure where you can (for now) find the spawn egg for the Dark Opal Demon.
