After some time, they will form stage 2 of their growth. As you can see, leaves have started appearing.

You can get grape seeds by destroying tall grass. There are two different types of seeds, red seeds and white seeds.

When the seeds are right-clicked on grass, they will place a grape vine. This is stage 1 of a vine's growth.

Soon, the vine will form the 3rd and final stage of their growth. Grapes will appear on the plant. This picture shows red grapes.

Right-click the plant to pick the grapes. This will add 3 bunches of grapes directly to your inventory and revert the plant to stage 2. You can also destroy the plant completely, though this will only yield 1 grape bunch and 2 grape seeds.
