Crash Log: https://pastebin.com/s65wBKKs
Problem continues to persist to now, same issue as OP.
Looking at Gold Ore in Essential Smelting will also produce the crash
Can you try to reproduce this in a clean theurgy install (theurgy + jei + patchouli)?
For me this error does not reproduce, and in the crash log no theurgy logic seems to be called. Most likely this is a problem with an invalid recipe in the modpack

My crash report of same pack, now with BetterEnd's Amber Ore
I am playing on the same exact pack as @Merithor above.

This crash happened when I looked up the uses of Gold Ore in JEI, flipped through the tabs and clicked on Theurgy's JEI tab.
Edit: Dropped all mods but Theurgy, JEI and Patchouli does fix the crash, but ... the stack trace on this crash report is confusing since it doesn't refer to your mod. ... Wonder if its JEIintegration...
Edit2: Nope. ... Something somewhere within this mod listing is causing problems, and I don't have the patience to try and decipher that, with 99% of mods doing the whole stupid "I must be split into multiple jars" shenanigans. ... I miss early modded when every mod pretty much was just a single mod jar file, and not this convoluted dependency shenanigans with libraries and junk. ... The crash report is there, maybe someone is able to help figure out.
Singleplayer results of Slowly added Mods: No crash for it. Now attempting if going on Server with said instance is affected
Results of Multiplayer: It crashes.
GD launcher says: Error: Signal Exits . Code 4294967295 . AL lib EE alc_cleanup: 1 device not closed. (I dont this error is in anyway a probable cause).
Singleplayer works for normal instance
Something in the Server has screwed up that is causing this.
From my testing 2 separate instances of the same thing: Singleplayer works for the ores and able to search for Aer and all elements, no issues, only the server has issues.
Any ides of what could be the culprit? Like a mismatching JEI index or something?
The crash seems to only affect everything "Aer" related on a Server, much like OP's issue.
So @Merithor was unable to get a Forge server instance running with just the above mods... I decided to do so. The crash does NOT happen on singleplayer, but once a dedicated server is added to the mix, ... oh boy.
List of items that cause the crash by looking up the Elements in the different tabs. Some items can view their elements, but you cant click on said element without it crashing.
Ghast Tears, Gold Ore, [BetterEnd] Amber Ore,
Looking up any of the Elements in JEI (strictly elements) also crashes, not excluded to Aer.
