New Items will only be pulled into the High Oven when the GUI is open, not sure if it has to do with the controller placement above ducts and drains.

That's some serious bug, I did reproduce it. I'll try to fix it

Solved: they do get pulled but the smelting temperatures are not updating when the items are inserted by a duct, that's a cookiecore bug - the inventory lib I use isn't calling markDirty.
