An ambient mod for those who miss having old Thaumcraft 4 in their modern minecraft world.
Requires Patchouli and Trinkets!
Scope
tomCraft may not be a full port of Thaumcraft 4 into current minecraft yet
I will try what I can to bring at least some parts of the old world back!
This is my training mod! I am proficient in developing in Java but I am new to Minecraft Modding
It will have worldgen from Thaumcraft 4 (Amber, Cinnabar, Cinderpearl etc) and the Infused Ores and more.
Some things start pure decoration/curios but transform to function at later stage.
I already learned a lot about mc-modding since my first puny block and I will continue to do so
Much lies ahead but that is part of the fun. Seeing modern minecraft getting old time magic is a journey.
Items, Blocks, Trees, Flowers, Recipes, further WorldGen will come to function together over time
This might give you the feeling like there still may be some hidden magic in your modern Minecraft World
If only you could find your way into it... You had a dream of holding a wand in your hand...
Start
Craft 2 'Iron Wandcaps' and combine them with a 'Stick' at a workbench
That gives you your first Wand, the 'Iron Wand'.
With that Iron Wand in hand right-click a Bookshelf!
This gives you the Thaumonomicon which will (in future) hold and guide you in tomCraft.
Permission
Feel free to use in your modpacks but they have to be hosted on CurseForge only and link back to tomCraft page.
