The Traveler's Compass can search for any entities (by their drops, spawn eggs, or inventory contents), as well as any blocks or containers (such as chests or furnaces) by their contents, and more.
Features:
- The compass has its own inventory size of 9 slots;
- The compass always points to the object closest to the player;
- The mod is compatible with JEI and REI, allowing you to search for items directly from their panels;
- Most features, such as the search radius, experience cost for searching, and black/white-listing, can be customized in the configuration file;
- A pointer on the compass texture indicates if the search target is above or below:

Mostly compatible with other content mods. Compass will search for blocks, containers, and creatures from other mods
- Lootr:
The compass will search for the contents of chests (as well as minecarts, barrels, etc.) from the Lootr mod, even if they have not been opened yet. This option can be disabled in the config, after which the search will only be available if the player has already opened a particular container.
- JEI and REI:
You can drag and drop items from the JEI/REI panel into the compass inventory. This function can be disabled in the config
