Hephaestus is a Fabric port of Tinkers' Construct for 1.18.2.

Considering that this mod already has support for TC, I'm surprised that Hephaestus support hasn't been implemented as well. It actually seems very broken at the moment, as you can't chop trees with tinker tools in general at all at the moment. They just break the log. And editing the config file and adding the TC compat section manually seems to just remove that part of the config at launch.

Hey, thanks for sharing. I didn't realize there was a fabric port for TC, nice! The TC compat code is currently only included in the Forge version of treechop, but I can definitely add support on Fabric as well.

Hephaestus seems to be based on an older, less flexible version of TC, so the compatibility code for Forge TC doesn't work with Hephaestus. There might be a way around it, but no promises
