this glitch bug greatly spoils the aesthetic appearance of the game
on 1.12.2
at the moment there is no mod to fix this problem
It would be incredible if it was fixed
also this error breaks resource packs with 3d block models

Tried to reproduce it since it bothered me as well. As it turns out, the most apparent lighting nuisance seems to be caused by OptiFine.
