Now in 1.20-pre5, Mojang has fixed this old bug that falling blocks may kill dropped items and xp orbs(MC-120158also MC-572 ). I hope it can be port to 1.12.2, we can't bear such troubles like anvils "eat" items! Hope this fix can be ported thx❤
