The camera mod's later versions allow the item used as film to be configured but the 1.12 version is no longer supported with updates so that feature was never backported. By default the camera uses vanilla paper as film which is a bit too cheap in my opinion which is why the pack would ideally use some other harder to obtain item instead. eg. a custom silver paper film item or something else.
