To explain further, in later versions of Minecraft, you can switch armor pieces by having another armor piece in your hotbar and right clicking it to switch it. For example, if you're wearing an elytra on your chest and you have a chestplate in your hotbar, right clicking when holding the chestplate in your hand will swap the elytra and chestplate, making you wear the chestplate instead. I've tried to find mods that have this feature, for example quark, but Quark seems to only do it to armor stands and not the player. Not sure if it's too out of scope for Universal tweaks though.
