Dark oak saplings aren't forming squares to grow into new trees.

Describe the solution you'd like
When a sapling is about to plant itself, it checks the surrounding blocks and if there's a sapling within two blocks it plants itself next to it.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Tweak the growing of saplings so they don't require 3 nearby saplings but instead 3 nearby air blocks.

Additional context
If the first solution is chosen then could reverse the behavior for other trees causing them to naturally spread out more.
