Well-Behaved Mobs is discontinued as of 2022-03-27.
📖 About:
Well-Behaved Mobs adds some minor tweaks to the behavior of a few mobs to mainly make them a lot less annoying than they currently are.
📚 Contents:
The very annoying and buggy strafing behavior when attacking is completely removed from Skeletons. They will no longer walk backwards and fall off cliffs or get stuck at small corners. Instead they will mostly stand still and shoot, firing faster the closer you get to them.
A bunch of Monsters are now rightfully scared of exploding creepers. When they spot one nearby they will run away as fast as they can.
The fiery Blazes of the Nether will no longer call for reinforcements when fighting a player, therefore no giant chain reactions will turn entire Nether fortresses against you in a matter of seconds.
Endermen loose their super-speed when chasing a target, making it more manageable, but still very tricky to escape their long arms.
The easily scared Rabbits become a lot more brave. They do not run away from players anymore, so breeding no longer is a nightmare.
The wooly Sheep now are just a little bit smarter when it comes to avoiding dangerous wolves.
Heart particles appear around Animals while they are in love instead of only once when they enter love mode.
Instead of standing still, Creepers will stay close to their target and dodge attacks while exploding. This feature is disabled by default.
✏️ Notes:
Well-Behaved Mobs runs purely on the server-side. It even works when using a vanilla client to connect to a Forge server having this mod installed.
