Yummy is back!
After many years of being ignored and abandoned the Yummy mod is back!!!!
Versions for MC 1.17.1 and later - Fabric only
Versions for MC 1.12.2 and earlier - Forge only
If you want to port it to another launcher - you are welcome as long as you obey the license, which is LPGLv3.
NEW DESCRIPTION (1.17.1 and later):
Much more food added. (Use REI or whatever to see the recipies).
The food nourishment and saturation is re-balanced (yet again!) to closer match vanilla food tiers.
Much more of the cuisines around the world represented (Sorry if your local cuisine is not represented. If you want a dish to be included and it is a popular/wide known and representative - we can discuss it).
Growable sunflowers removed - they were overcomplicated with too few uses.
OLD DESCRIPTION (1.12.2 and earlier):
Description
This mod re-balances the hunger/saturation and adds more food:
- fish and chips
- sauces and salads
- sandwiches
- calamari and sushi
- pizza
- desserts
- and much more!
The main idea is that protein food is more saturating than carbohydrate food, cooked food is better than raw and nothing can beat a good balanced diet!
Also food made from other kinds of food should be no worse than its ingredients.
Keeping that in mind the food is divided into the categories based on their saturation ratio (food is colour-coded as such: Vanilla, Yummy, Biomes'O'Plenty)
Note: Biomes'O'Plenty is not supported starting from version 2.2.0 (minecraft version 1.12)

Config
There are no config yet.
Achievements
There are no new achievements yet (there are plans for them in the future).
Though existing ones are adjusted where needed. I mean the recipe for bread has changed and now requires yeast, which in its turn requires water in a bucket and therefore iron. Yes, it's now much more difficult to get "Bake Bread" achievement. To compensate for that, crafting a pita will also give you this "Bake Bread" achievement.
Oh, and the recipe for the cake is also adjusted, but the impact is less significant.
Initial resource acquisition
In addition to wheat seeds, grass drops carrot, potato, beetroot seeds, tomato seeds, sunflower seeds and rice. So basically all seeds except melons and pumpkins. It also means that you no longer depend on villages to get potatoes, carrots and beetroots. (In the future it can probably be controlled by options in config, but, again, at the moment there are no config in this mod yet).
Rice also drops from sugar cane.
Crafting recipes

Oh, well. It seems that I'm way to lazy to insert images of crafting recipes. You can obviously use mods like NEI or JEI to see them all.
Crafting chains

Again, the same laziness issue here. On the other hand, I'll leave this exploration part to you.
Compatibility
Yummy up to 2.1.5 (minecraft 1.11.2) is compatible with Biomes O'Plenty and partially with Ceramics.
There are two versions of builds — with dependency on Ceramics and without it.
Apparently the version which depends on Ceramics would crash if Ceramics is not loaded.
Yummy starting from version 2.2.0 (minecraft 1.12) does not interact with other mods.
Legal stuff
You may use this mod in a modpack as long as you do not make money off of it (Adf.ly, exclusive access from donations, etc.), you give credit (Linking back to https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/yummy) and you follow all the terms listed in the license.
I would appreciate if you notify me prior to inclusion the mod in a modpack.
