Refined Storage, Draconic Evolution, Mekanism, along with many others lets you go down a more tech based path. Meanwhile Wizardry and Thaumcraft make up a magic path. Don't have a life, just like me, do both paths. With 150+ mods the list of things will never run out. There is currently a small questing system so go crazy with the mods. Mods will be added, removed (not likely), and tweaked.
