Welcome to Eureka, the historical accurate modpack, with the research of technology, the technological progress, the hardcore survival, and the uber-realism, makes this modpack the first of it's kind. Explore the beginning of history in the Stone Stage with Pyrotech, the invention of metallurgy and the start of kingdoms with Tektopia in the Bronze Stage, the invention of cannons and ironworking in the Middle Stages, the scientific discoveries, and exploration in the Stage of Exploration, the discovery of electricity and mechanical solutions with Immersive Engineering in the Industrial Stage, and the research of nuclear technology with NuclearCraft in the modern age. And the colonizing of planets in the Astral Age with Advanced Rocketry.
This modpack is Based in the mod From The Ground Up, a mod that adds research to Minecraft. To research the custom tech tree, you have to experiment with different items until Eureka! You've got an idea. Recipes and Items are gated using this and the GameStages mod. But not only are items and recipe gated: Mobs and Structures are too! This mod uses MobStages and Recurrent Complex to create historically accurate structures and mobs, depending on the time period. If you load into a chunk not previously explored, the structures that generate will be historically accurate, so no running into a launchpad while you still don't know how to make a sword. Mobs like the Dodo don't spawn in the late game because they were hunted to extinction, while bandits that hold you at gunpoint won't time travel to the Paleolithic Period.
This modpack has all custom recipes, using CraftTweaker, custom items using ContentTweaker, Custom mob drops and mob rules using InControl, Custom Advancements using Triumph, Custom Dimensions using Dimension Control, Custom tutorial books using Patchouli.
This modpack is server-friendly. Together Forever is installed, so if you want to share achievements use /tofe. All staging is player based and not server-side. You won't get left behind!
This modpack will continue to add content and bug fixes after the initial release.
