Death is only the beginning... Prepare yourself to fight against a world inhabited by the most inhospitable array or creatures imaginable. Gather your wits and through skill and perseverance rise above it. A wide array of magical and medieval options provide everything you need to not only overcome, but master this inhospitable world. When you're done, creatures that once slaughtered you without thought will yield to your command and with time and you will build an empire out of the chaos.
Start off with only 6 hearts and a huge variety of mobs looking to turn you into a meal. Additional hearts can be gotten via Baubley Heart Canisters or via Spice of Life Potato Edition (See the wiki for details on nutrition values in this modpack)
Once your established enough that you've at least got enough food to help keep you alive, you've got all sorts of options. On the mundane side of things, going deeper into cooking can get you a lot of benefits. Setting up a colony (with minecolonies) can net you safe harbor, automatic crafting, and various resources. Exploring Lycanites Mobs can get you a variety of creatures both as pets and mounts, including flying mounts. Create is the closest that the modpack gets to technology, and while still maintaining a more fantasy appearance it serves the purpose quite well. Finally, there's a plethora of magic mods to pick from, make your choice on style of wizarding and enjoy.
The variety of creatures in the game will add new challenges to old tasks. Defeating the dragon will hold an entirely new difficulty with the creatures that will be attacking you during the battle. Twilight forest and Lycanites add a variety of bosses to overcome. Mowzie's mobs and ice and fire both provide additional sets of mobs to learn about. Numerous mods add all sorts of generated structures across the world. I hope you enjoy seeing everything the pack has to offer.
