MC:R (Minecraft: Reforged) is an RLCraft inspired modpack with over 100+ Forge Mods that improves Quality of Life, increases the difficulty, improves immersion, adds more mobs, food, weapons, armor, and more!

Key Features Included In MC:R

  • 100+ New mobs added from various mods!
  • Improved player HUD and new GUI features to fit a better RPG theme.
  • Several QoL improvements like BetterPingDisplay and Clumps
  • Substantially improved immersion and mechanical upgrades like Dynamic Surroundings and Item Physics
  • Increased the difficulty in several different aspects. You now have more things to manage than just hunger! You know have thirst, stamina, sleep, and body temperature to look after. You can no longer punch trees to gather wood, just like in real life you will have to use an axe to chop down trees. 
  • An abundance of new mobs (Animals, creatures, bosses), both friendly and hostile! Beware of some new hostile mobs as they can pack a serious punch! For example: Dragons from the Ice And Fire mod.
  • Minecraft is now much more realistic, may it be for your benefit or perhaps the world is against you! There's now more realistic camera movement, blood, immersive screen effects, better snow, seasons, spider improvements and you now leave behind your corpse when you die thanks to the Corpse mod which leaves behind your lifeless body with your inventory so you can retrieve everything back!
  • Several new biomes and new dimensions. From more overworld variety, better caves, dungeons, better Nether & End, etc. added to help accumulate countless hours to your exploration journey!
  • An all-new MMO-styled Leveling System! With Project MMO you can level different attributes to improve your player's abilities like Agility, Mining, Endurance, Combat, Smithing, Fishing, and more. On the other side, you now have experience requirements for using certain things. Like using a iron sword requires a certain level in Combat!
  • AND MORE!

Setup & Installation

The absolute easiest way is to install the CurseForge Launcher and launch the modpack from there. You can download it here: https://curseforge.overwolf.com/

Search for MC:R | Minecraft: Reforged - 1.16.5 [FORGE] or just Minecraft: Reforged and install.

I highly recommend allocating more RAM as the default may not be enough. For example, I have 16GB of RAM so I allocate 4GB to Minecraft from the default 1GB. Be careful with how much you allocate as it may affect your PC's performance, never use all of your RAM on Minecraft.

I highly recommend downloading Optifine for increasing performance and if you would like to use Shaders!
