MDGT Mod is the perfect modpack to play with your friend and have a better and harder survival with the 4 main mods being Biomes 'O' Plenty, Oh the Biomes you'll go, Alex's Mobs and Essential. Biome 'O' Plenty and Oh the Biomes you'll go are basically the same thing they add 30+ new biomes to your world. Alex's mobs adds 20+ new mobs that are in the real world and some are just fictional, these mobs can spawn in the overworld, nether and end, and lastly Essential is a mod where you can play with your friends without a server or a realm just add each other and one person hosts the world and then you play.
