Mystic Islands - Modpacks

This is a Thaumcraft 6 Skyblock mod pack.

This is a spin off from my other mod pack 'Mystic Lands' were I set out to create a pack devoted to thaumcraft 6 but this time I do it in a void world.

Sick of overpowered modpacks? Do you love Skyblock and thaumcraft but hate Ex-Nihilo? Then this mod pack is for you!

A lot of mod packs include Thaumcraft but Thaumcraft is almost always outshined or completely ignored because the flag ship mods are overpowered and overlap the best perks of Thaumcraft.

There are a ton of mods in this pack but none of them outshine Thaumcraft; its the hart of the pack, its used for everything.

Their are 4 starting islands each with a unique set of starting items. All islands spawn in a magic biome that extends out 50 blocks, after that natural world gen dictates biome type.

Island descriptions:

mini: You get no lava or water. If you're crazy enough to try this island just know that it will take you ~~hours~~ days just to get cobblestone. The only perk with this island is you get a Axe of the stream with unbreaking one.

small: looks very similar to the original skyblock it has all the original skyblock items plus a mining haste ring.

large: All the items from the original skyblock but larger with ore hidden inside.

wizard: This may be the easiest island.

Important notes and tips.-

You first have to unlock Hedge Alchemy before you can use any of the custom crucible recipes.

You will spend a lot of time in vanilla skyblock before you can do this. You can get your first 3 books from loot bags or a saddle from fishing can be cut into leather with shears.

Iron Golems drop AE2 stuff.

You can trade with pech foragers for some really cool stuff!

You can cure some zombies and trade with villagers for some useful items.

Many mobs have items added to their loot tables at a very low rate 1-3%.

You can make dirt with gravel and dirt to craft course dirt and then use a hoe to turn it into dirt.

Wither skeletons will spawn on nether-brick in the nether, blaze on netherrack.

You can craft Thaumcraft boss spawn eggs via the custom infusion recipes.

In it's current state it is very grindy. And far from being finished. But it is playable. (I think)
