You play as Shrei Yoden, a mentally deranged individual who was incarcerated for life within a maximum security mental asylum. He has been plucked from his reality and plopped into this world: Project Hilaris Plaguiarius, by the Goobaloo, the antagonists of the pack. He suffers from many mental illnesses, leading to his disorganized state. At times he is lucid, and at other times he is unable to distinguish between reality and fiction.

Unlike the cow like docile Inter Dimensional Wabaloos I created on a magical trip.. The antagonists of this pack are "The Goobaloos"; an omnipotent species who love to disrupt the inter dimensional flow for their own amusement. They love to pull living beings and inanimate objects from multiple realities and mash it all together to see what happens.
This planet is one of their projects. And you, are merely one more creature that they've added to the mix. Every sentient creature added to the mix has access to a living journal created by the Goobaloo's that they can interpret dependent on their communication abilities. Each one is different and morphs into a interpretable language for said sentient holding the journal.
What one sentient sees another does not.
Many years after the now abandoned planet of Project Hilaris Plaguiarius served its purpose to the Goobaloo's, some wild Wabaloo's have made their homes with some of the remaining living sentients from the old project, and are slowly helping them terraform the world back into a somewhat less torturous state that the Goobaloo's turned it into. Major Mod Configuration Changes Unique To This Pack (Singleplayer Only)
- Primarily designed to be played on hardcore, but HQM is weird.
- Bloodmoons occur every night
> You can never sleep, therefore never set your spawn point, this is by Goobaloo design.
- The Parasites are almost unkillable unless you can puncture their armour or light a fire beneath them
> The quest book will give you weapons to kill them easier
- The rats mod is mostly stripped to pave it's own way into the questbook. You cannot tame rats or craft a lot of the items.
- The main apex creatures in the pack that constantly fight each other are the Xenomorphs and Parasites
- Astral Sorcery is only accessible via progressing through the questbook
- Below Y level 44 most of the world's resources have been converted into obsidian to make progressing extremely aggrivating.
- A lot of recipes have had themselves stripped or rearranged to work with the questbook.
