You pass forward through the familiar portal at the end of a long cave system. You're immediately met by an enchanting world. Thick, dark clouds block out any light from above and cover the lands in gloomy shadows. Each step you take is a burden on your very being, this world is clearly not meant for you.
A seemingly pristine landscape awaits you and a childish curiosity takes over your mind. This world is certainly benign, so all you need is a healthy dose of caution and you should be fine.
In the far-off distance you smell what must be the scents of creatures myths and legends are made of. While they appear to be docile and safe, you make sure they don't get any closer. You can make out enormous creatures, fluffy creatures, and what you think might be sliding creatures of some sort.
You can feel your excitement rising as you're about to set upon the adventure of a lifetime. But, with a few back-up plans, a bit of tenacity, and some solid planning, you should be able to explore this realm for all it has to offer.
