Plentiful! is your one-stop shop for some of the best mods 1.18.2 has to offer in exploration, technology, and magic! With over 200 mods, this modpack is sure to enrich your Minecraft adventures. Designed as a "vanilla++" modpack, Plentiful! contains every mod that should be a part of vanilla Minecraft, and then some.
BUILDS OF THE MODPACK ARE CURRENTLY UNSTABLE!
EXPLORATION:
- The Overworld gets an immense world-generation makeover through Oh The Biomes You'll Go, Terralith, and TeamAbnormals mods. Players can be led to new biomes with a Nature's Compass.
- Dungeons have been added or reworked using the following: Repurposed Structures, YUNG'S mods, When Dungeons Arise, Integrated Dungeons and Structures, Integrated Stronghold, Dungeon Crawl, Dungeons Plus, and Valhelsia Structures (v1.5+).
- Structures with new mobs and bosses to fight have been included from the mods Ice and Fire, Mowzie's Mobs, and L_Ender's Cataclysm.
- Cute new creatures can be found in Alex's Mobs, Creatures and Beasts, Ecologics, and Naturalist!
- The Nether gets a revamp with Incendium, Infernal Expansion, and Bygone Nether. The End gets a small shake-up with Nullscape.
- Two new dimensions, the Everbright and the Everdawn, have been added from the mod Blue Skies.
- A third new dimension, the Twilight Forest, was added in v1.5!
TECHNOLOGY:
To match the pack's whimsical nature, the technology in this pack excludes high-tech gadgets like jetpacks in favor of structures powered by steam, water, or the elements.
- Create to your heart's content! This eye-catching mod allows for innovation in automation with its conveyor belts, fans, mixers, harvesters, and deployers that tie flawlessly with vanilla redstone.
- Want something more in line with other tech mods? Immersive Engineering is just right for you! The mod's complex multi-blocks can be powered by various sources of energy and connected with power lines.
- Create Crafts & Additions integrates the two above by adding a means of conversion between Create's stress units and FE/RF, and vice versa.
- On the more magical side of things is Botania, a nature-themed mod that lets the player channel flower power to devise various contraptions.
MAGIC:
- Assemble spells together with Ars Nouveau! Integration with Create is provided through Ars Creo.
- Is witchery more your style? Try Hexerei! From everything to flying on brooms to picking herbs for brews, this mod provides everything a witch could dream of.
- Through a new enchantment system, Apotheosis grants the player a chance to craft mightier weapons, armor, and tools.
- Trinkets galore! Reliquary Reincarnations adds a plethora of items for the player to take control of their surroundings. In Versions 1.2 and above of the modpack, only the Ender Dragon can drop the Rending Gale and Glowing Bread.
And more...
- Quark and Supplementaries feature an abundance of tweaks and vanilla+ additions to enhance the player experience.
- Farmer's Delight expands Minecraft's lackluster cooking system with high-quality dishes that strengthen the player with new effects.
- Ever needlessly fought over who gets the goodies after conquering a dungeon? Lootr sounds just for you! Almost every barrel, chest, or shulker box found in structures will be converted into Lootr versions, allowing for separate loot tables for each explorer.
- Decorative Blocks which add layers of complexity to every build.
- To deal with the deluge of new items and gadgets, Sophisticated Backpacks have been included as well.
QUESTIONS:
- Where are the map mods?
Use the Antique Atlas! The atlas is a physical item rather than a rotating image on the player's HUD. It automatically catalogs certain types of structures (such as villages), but it neglects other buildings and dungeons in order to maintain some secrecy when it comes to exploration. It also gives the player the ability to manually put markers on their atlas, much like other map mods.
- Can I use Optifine?
Probably not. First off, Rubidium and its add-ons (including Oculus!) add most of the features from Optifine. Optifine is infamous for being closed source, meaning that modders cannot feasibly create patches for incompatibilities between their mods and Optifine. One such example is the Twilight Forest; going into that dimension with Optifine installed is a recipe for crashes and other problems. My advice would be to just stick with the performance mods in the modpack!
- Why can't I break Waystones?
Waystones have been made indestructible if they are found in structures or in the wild. However, Waystones crafted by players are able to be broken and re-placed infinitely!
- How do I play with friends?
If you do not have a physical server to call your own, I recommend using Oracle Cloud to create a server; it's completely free and will save all of your files as long as you log in every 30 days. It automatically has 24 GB of RAM and 4 CPU cores. The process is a little tedious and technical compared to other methods of creating servers, but Oracle themselves have published a write-up for getting started: How To Set Up and Run a (Really Powerful) Free Minecraft Server in the Cloud. The blog post lacks a tutorial for setting up forge, but the process should be easier once everything else has already been set up.
- How much RAM do I need?
Although this pack has not been thoroughly tested on low-end devices, I recommend dedicating anywhere from 4-6 GB of RAM for this pack to run smoothly on either singleplayer or multiplayer.
