The events of the Omega Disaster were just the beginning of horrors that layaway. Those who escape the disaster made their way to the frozen arctic. In hopes that horrors wouldn't be able to reach in fear of the frozen temperatures.
However, that just only started with pain. A frozen blizzard came across and kill a vast majority of people who went for refuge. Loss of people and loss of essential resources. Other survivors went to the cave for shelter. But within the cave, familiar sounds of horror appear.
Sounds of pain and death go across the land. leaving you and others that may or may not be alive. Your tasks survive the artic, build a defense, build a functional artic colony. And never let your guard down.
