This is SkyFactory as it should have been. I for one, did not like the new method of sky orchards to gather resources. Thus, this new version of SkyFactory, a new line of SkyFactory packs in creation. This pack includes a great variety of mods and is similar as well as different to the prior SkyFactory 3 (SkyFactory 4 no longer counts). Sieving to gather resources, advancements planned to make progress easier, and more! This pack is currently working though more features are soon to be added.
To start off, create a new world. Be careful, this tree is your one and only chance to start right. Once you mine down to the dirt block, be quick, extend your platform. I highly recommend that you craft a crafting table and four sticks. Using these 4 sticks, craft a crook. If you are unsure of the recipe, you can look it up in the JEI menu. You can use ore excavation (hit the tilda key while breaking something) with the leaves to instantly break all of them. The goal of the pack is to start from the tree and slowly work your way to automation and then to become completely overpowered. Start off to working to getting a cobblestone generator, to automating sieving, automated mob farms, auto crafting, and smart storage systems. This modpack includes ways to achieve early partial flight (jetpacks) all the way to permanent flight (supremium armor, draconic evolution, environmental tech nanobots). Energy solutions for all your needs, reactors, generators, solar panels, no matter what way you choose to play the pack, they'll be the right items for you. There's even magic options too, with botania and blood magic!
The beta version for 1.2.0 is out. Your old 1.1.0 worlds will not work with this update. This update has streamlined the mods to offer more mods that are needed rather than a bunch of mods you will never touch. There are a lot of recipe changes ensuring balance and fun!
