This modpack is super fun. It comes with some of your favorite mods of version 1.12.2. If you are looking for a world filled with magic alchemy and imagination this is the modpack for you. The first mod i'd throw out there is Thaumcraft which a magic mod that adds a bunch of unique magic. You will have some moments where you'd want to do real research. Next is project E this mod is my personal favorite mod. This mod is all about equivilent exchange i reccommend grabbing a transmutation table first. These two mods themselves will b able to help you throughout your journey in minecraft. But don't stop there there are plenty of exploration that needs to be done.
