In short, this mod contains a few hand-picked quality of life mods to make life easier on a vanilla server. There's CraftTweaker, FastFurnace/Workbench, Roughly Enough Items. Xaero's Minimap/World Map, and even Light Overlay, which shows you spaces mobs can spawn on when you hit f7. There are a ton of other mods, though, so be sure to check the full modlist.
