Dungeons to find and dungeons to crawl. Bosses to be beaten and loot to be taken. For far and wide one may go. For the spoils of war are many to the one who will conquer. Or you can go get quests from a town if it has a Bounty board. Do it alone or with a party of adventurers. Or stay for a while and join the town rise to be a King or help someone else to take charge.
