Summary
The Multiverse is a small to medium size modpack, built with the purpose of server stability and performance. Mods have been limited to the most popular and in-depth mods, in order to allow entry-level players to quickly grasp the basics of modded play, as well as allow experienced players to experiment and create complex contraptions like they would on larger packs. All aspects of the game have been expanded and improved upon with a carefully picked selection of mods, as listed here:
War
With mods such as ICBM, SecurityCraft and Flans' Weapons, players can easily wage war against each other, protect their bases and even battle over objectives such as being the first ones to reach the moon, thanks to Galacticraft.
Exploration
While not affecting much of what is found in the overworld, the modpack greatly expands other dimensions, with great additions such as the Twilight Forest, and the multitude of planets implemented by Galacticraft. Players can even create their own custom, tailor-made dimensions through the use of Mystcraft.
Building
By expanding the amount of blocks and block variants through Blockcraftery and Chisel, this modpack offers a variety of new options for builders, even allowing to create your own custom decorations or meticulously detailed buildings through the use of the Chisel and Bits mod.
Contraptions, Farms and Automation
Through selecting the most popular and wide-spread machinery mods such as Thermal Expansion and Mekanism, the modpack provides an entry-level experience for those who haven't previously used mods, as well as the freedom to create and experiment for more experienced mod users. Omitting more complicated mods such as Railcraft and IndustrialCraft, the prospect of building factories and manufacturing materials becomes much less daunting, while improving overall performance by excluding more complicated and less utilised tech mods.
Additionally, to aid in manufacturing and mass-scale production of materials, mods such as Mystical Crops and ProjectE have been included to ease the grind and tedium of gathering resources, allowing for construction of ambitious builds, previously only achievable by the most dedicated of players.
Magic
In many modpacks, players are often spoilt for choice when it comes to magic mods, and may often have difficulty choosing which one to play - by limiting our selection to Draconic Evolution, Thaumcraft and ProjectE, once again, more casual players are able to learn the basics from the most popular and well documented mods available, while also offering flexibility for more experienced mod users, and those who wish to renounce tech in favour of magic.
