Question

so i set up the t1 Generator and make a crop farm around it and no matter the fuel (coal,coke,charcoal) as soon as i turn it on (not overclock) it burns All the fuel to generator ash Immediately. and i haven't been able to progress because of this

am i missing something with the generator am i suppose to maybe research something else what can i do to correct the problem and continue the pack?
