Welcome to Travel and Create, with Bingo Quests!

A Big, Rich World!

This world has a huge number of structures and biomes.

Every regular dimension is rich and dense, and Twilight Forest is there for fun and resources as well.

The power level is a little bit above vanilla Minecraft, with some special weapons and Botania to help out.

The Create mod and lots of addons are the major tech tree, plus Botania.

Explore!

Exploration and discovery are a major focus of this modpack.

You start with a horse and saddle, a backpack, a Waystone, biome and structure compasses, and lots of travel gear.

You will also find Waystones, and the XP cost for them has been inverted, costing nothing to travel long distances.

You can set a personal horse and whistle for it from anywhere, even across dimensions.

The /rtp and /tpa commands are available as well.

Bingo!

Another major feature of this pack are its custom Bingo Quests.

These are advancement pages that are bingo boards, a 5x5 group of challenges.

There are permanent rewards for getting a bingo (row, column, or diagonal) and then a blackout (everything).

Due to current limitations in Minecraft, the rows can be out of order, but there are trackers for the diagonals.

Turn in bingos and blackouts by ringing a bell, found in villages.

What You'll Find in Travel and Create

Structures and Biomes

One of the big structure mods in this pack is Integrated Dungeons and Structures (IDAS).

IDAS has beautiful structures that use materials from other mods like Alex's Mobs, Quark, Create, and Supplementaries.

Other structure mods include When Dungeons Arise, Repurposed Structures, Towers of the Wild, and lots of Yung's mods.

Biome mods include both Oh the Biomes You'll Go and Biomes O'Plenty, Bygone Nether, Nullscape, and more.

Most of the structure mods have advancements for finding structures. Good luck!

Custom Lootbags

Hostile monsters may drop a Common lootbag (tier 1) and/or an Uncommon (tier 2).

Bosses always drop an Epic (tier 4) and sometimes a Legendary (tier 5).

Each tier has a separate, custom-made loot table with items from all the mods in this modpack.

The loot tables aren't meant to be a secret, but there's no easy way to add them to JEI.

See below for screenshots in a spoiler tag and a link to the loot tables in GitHub.

Villages - Harder Raids

There are a lot of villages in this world.

A lot of them will have a Waystone, although they can be hard to find sometimes.

There are more kinds of villagers and some other villager improvements.

Be very careful causing raids, as the raids are harder.

Other Features

The modpack is rounded out with tech progressions in Create and Botania.

Most of the automation will come from those.

There's also some combat updates, including combat roll and holding down the attack button to swing repeatedly.

Spend a bit of time getting used to the combat in this pack, and try third-person fighting and horseback riding.

There's also enough mods with decorative blocks and objects to give a lot of options for building.

Technical Details

Setup Details

The default world type is set to Large Biomes, which makes a big, huge world to explore.

For servers, set the following line in server.properties:

"level-type=minecraft\:large_biomes" (without quotes) instead of "level-type=minecraft\:normal".

Suggested single-player or small group seed (large biomes): -2310653432932850030

Technical Notes

Restart the modpack if you get a NullPointerException from Create: Alloyed or Botanic Additions, those happen sometimes.

Ignore the "wrong version" warning in the resourcepacks menu - they're datapacks, and they do successfully load.

Example: Towers of the Wild.

The resource packs had to be duplicated into global_packs/required_resources/ to force them to be used.

Bingo Implementation

If you like the bingo boards and want to know how they work, check out the modpack on Github.

I love the idea of other people making bingo quests in their modpacks.

Feel free to copy the bingo datapack and make your own (which is explicitly allowed by the license on Github - TODO).

Lootbag Details

The lootbag mod is Event's Lootbags.

The lootbags use the normal loot table format, with custom loot set for this modpack.

I've also added the 4 to 1 and 1 to 4 crafting recipes.
