The maps currently have doDaylightCycle on false by default. This is a mistake, and a fix will be released. Also, on Wave Defense Hard(new), you'll spawn in Creative mode with an inventory full of stuff. This is also unintended. In that case, delete your inventory, switch to survival mode, and enable the daylight cycle.
Commands required to fix the maps
/gamerule doDaylightCycle true
The summary says it all. You'll start with a couple of generators, some wiring and power storage, some items (such as saplings, a watering can, and some weapons), and a wall. The rest is up to you. Creating worlds from the presets is the recommended way to play.
Wave Defense Easy has a fully-created base, an undamaged wall, and a strong start with 2 Torcherinos and a Reinforced Watering Can.
Wave Defense Hard is moderately more difficult, with a partially-damaged base, a nearly-destroyed wall, and a damaged wiring system.
Wave Defense Hard (New) is the hardest map, with a damaged base, crumbling wall, no solar power, weaker cobblestone generator, and reduced starting equipment (mostly in that you get no torcherinos or reinforced watering can). The damage to the wiring system is removed, though, as it was just tedious to go and fix it, and could cause people to assume there was a bug.
Future additions:
Quests
Reworking Wave Defense Hard to be a medium difficulty, and to have no difficulty comprised solely of annoying tricks.
Having the Nexus already activated when creating a world?
Scaling equipment with the amount of players (in the meantime, use commands or NEI to get another copy of the Tconstruct tools and the bread)
A better icon
Extra notes:
The bedrock block under your base is the cobblestone generator. It's in bedrock because I used ProjectE blocks to make it, so swiping them out of it would probably unbalance the pack. Torcherinos on the sides near the bottom will boost the speed though.
Key mods include:
Ex Nihilo (though you do start with a cobblestone generator to help skip the grind)
The Invasion Mod (adds new mobs, some items, and a Nexus, which can be used to add more mobs to the nightly attacks)
Open Modular Turrets and Utility Mobs (both for automated defense)
Mob Stats (to increase the stats of mobs)
Special Mobs (more mob variety)
Quiverbow/Quivermob (adds minecraft-themed guns (more crossbows, less AK-47s) and skeletons that use them).
If you upload a modified or unmodified copy of this pack, please include credit and a link. It would be appreciated if you did the same for maps designed for this pack, but it's not required.
