Description
Got a fear of spiders? Fear no more. This resource pack replaces models, textures and sounds of spiders and cave spiders, reskinning them as assassins and shadow assassins respectively.
Inspired by Muse31's Arachnophobia pack. This one is meant to be an alternative for those who want the spooky spiders gone, but don't mind a slightly darker theme.
Due to how this is just a resource pack, there are no mechanical changes at all. Assassins drop the exact same items that spiders drop, can climb and even take up the same space that a spider would with the same hitbox. That means you need to hit them in the legs, and that they can fit through holes 1 block high.
Moreover, I wasn't sure how to add a more interesting attack animation to the new models with OptiFine, so they just either jump at you (which looks decent enough) or stand there (which could have been better).
