What it does

This mod removes shading to clouds, blocks, and entities, which is a replica of Optifine's internal shaders feature.

Why should it be in the modpack

  • This mod can be a good Optifine parity feature for FO.
  • It has significantly better performance vs. Optifine's internal shaders. (which this mod has the same FPS as vanilla)
  • It supports Minecaft versions from 1.14.4 to possibly latest.
  • It has good compatibility with most mods like Bedrockify, Sodium, and Enhanced Block Entities.

Why shouldn't it be in the modpack

  • It has its own separate config to enable it via on mod menu and not integrated in the Video Settings, which is not intuitive.
  • It won't work on Iris. (but the mod will automatically disable if shaders are applied)

Additional details

i would add breking parity with minecraft as a cons, and imo minecraft parity is more important than optifine parity
