The goal is to allow for more items to be renewable using Create mechanics. I also included support for ores added by Quark.

Create already had some compacting recipes to generate some types of rock starting from others, so I followed the same schema and added a few more.

Every recipe of that kind requires 100 mB of fluid lava, 2 flints and a source material:

  • Stone -> Deepslate
  • Basalt -> Peridotite (added by Quark)
  • Quartz -> Jasper (added by Quark)
  • Clay -> Shale (added by Quark)
  • End Stone -> Myalite (added by Quark)
  • Warped Wart Block -> Asurine
  • Nether Wart Block -> Crimsite
  • Pearlescent Froglight -> Limestone
  • Ochre Froglight -> Ochrum
  • Verdant Froglight -> Veridium

I also added a few item application recipes (the same way you use an alloy on a stripped log):

  • Use Crimson fungus on Netherrack to obtain Crimson Nylium
    • Use Warped fungus on Netherrack to obtain Warped Nylium
      • Use Nether Sprouts on any type of Stone to obtain Netherrack
      • Use Popped Chorus Fruits on any type of Stone to obtain End Stone

Applying bone meal on a Nylium block grows roots, which can be used to craft Nether and Warped Wart Blocks.

Tuff is literally compressed ash, Supplementaries conveniently adds it, so compressing 4 ashes gives 1 tuff. Ash can be obtained by milling or crushing coal, charcoal and scoria. Ash can also be turned into gray dye.

Asurine and Tuff can be crushed into zinc. Veridium and Tuff can be crushed into copper. That makes Brass renewable as well.

Diamonds and Netherite are made renewable using superheated compacting recipes.

Diamonds are made of crystallized carbon, and they can be made by providing extreme heat and pressure using another material with carbon in it. Coal is made of carbon for the most part, so compacting 8 blocks of coal in a superheated press has a small chance to generate 1 diamond. Netherite follows a similar concept, but using nether bricks instead of coal.
