What is a CIT?
CIT or Custom Item Texture is a resource pack feature that allows you to change the model or texture of a Minecraft item depending on certain properties, usualy names. NEF's CIT Resource Pack uses this option to allow you to turn vanilla items into medieval furniture inspired in the mod "Medieval Pub decoration"
How to use it:
Simply rename your item in an anvil and put it in the world by placing it in an invisible item frame you can use this command to get them:
/give @p item_frame{EntityTag:{Invisible:1}}
Some blocks high enough may need to be placed in an item frame above a solid block, like a barrier.
