Hello! Ever feel like when you die you're greeted with a plain old death screen? Well, this resource pack aims to change that! For 1.20.1, 1.19.2, and 1.16.5, all death messages are now changed to be fun, snarky, and/or a reference. All you need to do is install and put the file in the resourcepack folder. In the game menu, make sure to activate it to experience the fun! All 99 message changes can be viewed below:

(Fall off ladder) "%1$s stepped down from their position as boss of a ladder",
(Fall off vines) "%1$s discovered that they are not Tarzan",

(Fall off twisting vines) "%1$s wanted to be on the A-twist",
(Fall off scaffolding) "%1$s was not a licensed construction worker",
(Fall from a high place) "%1$s thought climbing was overrated",
(Fall while climbing other climbable) "%1$s did not execute a MLG water bucket clutch successfully",
(Fall after taking damage from non-entities) "%1$s thought a bucket of milk could stop fall damage",

(Death by sonic boom) "%1$s got served some bad Sonic",

(Death by sonic boom while fighting player) "%1$s was was hit with some sonic speed whilst trying to escape %2$s",
(Impaled on stalagmite) "%1$s finally got the point",
(Impaled on stalagmite while fighting) "%1$s had a stalag-fight with %2$s and 'mite' of tripped over a rock",
(Stung with item) "%2$s got down to bees-ness and stung %2$s using %3$s",
(Hit by wither skull while enemy was holding a named item) "%1$s was in over %2$s 's head from the %3$s",
There are 2 other minimal changes as well that you can view below:
'You Died!' on death screen is changed to 'Bummer...'
'Score' on death screen is changed to 'Random Numbers' (because who really knows what it means)
