Ever feel like the particles in MC leave something to be desired? Ever notice how a lot of the particles could have animations but don't?
This is the pack that fixes that.
Puffy Underrated Fluffy Fumes (PUFF) retextures various aspects of MC that can be considered particles to give them more life while still fitting into vanilla. It also animates a few of them.
Here is the current list of entities affected by PUFF:
- The destroy stages (the overlay for breaking blocks)
- Fire and animated flames for torches (includes mod support for Infernal Expansion and Endergetic Expansion)
- Experience orbs
- Smoke and campfire clouds (includes mod support for Farmer's Delight steam clouds)
- Rain and snow now give off the impression of being particles (they aren't but they sure look like they are)
- Enchanted item glint (no longer appears as purple whateverthatstuffis, now appears as a white shine)
- Animated anger particle (for villagers)
- Slightly recolored bubbles and even popped bubbles
- Animated critical hit marker
- Animated damage indicator
- Liquid drops (honey, lava, water, etc.)
- Potion particles
- Animated enchanted hit marker
- Explosion effects
- Animated glint particle (plant growth effect)
- Glitter (seen mainly from end rods)
- Animated Nautilus particles
- Spark effects (seen mainly in fireworks)
- Animated water splash particles
- Eidolon mod support
PUFF should work for versions of MC that don't have the particles all joined into one image file. That is, it should work for 1.13, 1.14, 1.15, and 1.17. However, PUFF has been built and tested only in 1.16 and 1.18, thus I cannot guarantee it working 100% perfectly in other versions. Also, PUFF does NOT need Optifine to work!
Please let me know in the comments if there are any mods you would like to see supported by this pack.
