Respawn Door adds to the game a new portal players can build with seven copper blocks and a door, which can take the wayward player back to their respawn point. Players set their respawn point in the usual ways by either sleeping in a bed, or interacting with a charged respawn anchor. This datapack has zero per-tick functions, so it adds zero lag to even the busiest servers. This datapack is compatible with other properly formatted mods and datapacks. Now with multi-language support!
What Players need to join a Respawn Door server: nothing

The Datapack Content:
Players assemble the Respawn Door using seven cooper blocks (of any type), and placing any door in the portal just made. Immediately a player will notice the molecules of the copper portal become unstable, as space and time are are being manipulated around the portal.
Opening the door and stepping into the portal will send the player to their set respawn point. Players set their respawn point in the usual ways, by either sleeping in a bed, or by interacting with a charged nether respawn anchor.
If a player doesn't have a set respawn point, or if their bed is obstructed, or if their respawn anchor isn't charged, what happens next depends on the difficulty setting of the server:
Peaceful, Easy, Normal: The player will return to World Spawn.
Hard: The portal will fail and drop the wayward player into the void.
Why a Datapack:
The biggest difference compared to a mod is that vanilla-client players can join a datapack server without having to download anything in advance.
