Did you know that the original Minecraft hurt sound wasn’t made by Mojang? It was originally by a user called thecheeseman, on freesound.org.
However, there are 2 more hurt sounds uploaded by thecheeseman. That’s where this resource pack comes in.
This is a relatively simple pack that aims to give Steve a voice in-game by replacing the player hurt sounds with the ones by thecheeseman.
Demo video:
I recommend using this pack with a Steve skin applied! As far as I know, this is the closest thing to an in-game Steve voice that you can get currently.
This resource pack changes:
- The main player hurt sounds (replaced with thecheeseman’s hurt sounds)
- The fall damage sounds (replaced with the classic fall damage sounds from older versions)
- Berry bush player hurt sounds (replaced with edited versions of thecheeseman’s hurt sounds)
- Player drowning hurt sounds (replaced with edited versions of thecheeseman’s hurt sounds)
- Player burning hurt sounds (replaced with edited versions of thecheeseman’s hurt sounds)
This resource pack has been made and tested to work with 1.16.5, but it should work on some other versions too.
