Some people might not be sure what z-fighting is, so heres a quick explanation. z-fighting is a term for when two textures occupy the same space, and clip into each other, and try to render over one another, often creating an odd or glitchy visual for the player. A known issue with minecraft that has for some reason not been fixed is that the iron bar base textures experience z-fighting when they're on top of a full block. Vanilla tweaks offers a fix for this, but the same issue often also shows up for mods that include custom metal bars that use the iron bars as a template, and since they usually don't use the vanilla iron bars as a parent model, the fixes don't carry over.
This resource pack is all about fixing that by including the initial fix, and also applying it to a number of examples of metal bars added by other mods, to make sure everything looks as good as possible!
In addition to fixing the issue, all it alters is the models, so it should be completely compatible with any resource pack that still uses the default models for these blocks!
This pack is as marked as being for multiple versions, but I'm not actually sure which versions its compatible with and which it isn't. It shouldn't cause any issues, but if a version of a mod you're using doesn't use the same models that this resource pack is overwriting, it won't work properly. If this occurs, feel free to let me know and I'll try and release a fix for that particular version.
I originally made this for my own modpack, limitless rebirth, but other people liked the fix, and requested it be released as a standalone pack, so here's that!
