Hey guys! Ever get tired of overcomplicated villager breeding & transporting?
I really had a hard time doing exactly that in my latest surival word.
How do we fix that? Just do all in one with this little building!
How it works:
- Villagers inside the building (with at least one brown robed villager) farm carrots and breed.
- Baby villagers run around and get trapped in the outside chambers, pistons make sure they can't escape.
- The baby villagers grow up and you can access and label their trades from the outside.
- If a trade is good, keep it. If not, just kill the villager, the chamber will open and a new baby can enter! This setup only allows two iron golems to spawn. But since two crafted ones are trapped inside a cage in the building itself, no other golems can spawn.
Important:
If lightning strikes near a villager, they'll tranform into a witch. Be sure to build a glass roof above your house to prevent lightning!
Just build one at Y=256, it'll be invisible so it does not bother anyone.
How to use:
Make sure to build this in your spawn chunks and go check it out frequently. Kill bad trade villagers and eventually get your 16 best possible trades. You could always make the build bigger though, just remember to add enough doors. This design uses 64 doors to allow 22 Villagers to spawn in total.
