A small spawn area, originaly made for planetminecraft server as a concept. Since it was not used I release this into a public use.
Feel free to use and modify it however you like, just make sure to give proper credit.
If you wish, send me some pictures when you use it, I always like to see how people use my creations :)
It was build in MC version 1.7.9 for about 24 hours. In creative mode with the default minecraft resource pack, without any planings, pure improvization as most of all my builds 8-) (the build is compactible with latest 1.8+ too)
You can ofc. use different resource packs if you like to (tested with Ornate 5 Re-resurrected, Pamplemousse Modern style, and Conquest resource packs).

Description
There are 4 types of buildings representing different nations, time (in terms of past/present/future), styles of architecture, art, gameplay, etc.
Namely they are:
- Industrial/Modern/Future (North side) - Industrial Structure
- Traditional/Harmony/Present (East side) - Asian Structure
- Harsh/Art/Present (South side) - Desert Palace
- Wilderness/Nature/Past (West side) - Ruins
Each quarter has a representational structure. The Beacon Pillar stands for Industrial part, the Birch tree represents Harmony, the Sand Statue (scorpion-like) mirrors the Art and the Ruined fountain is the Untamed Wilderness of survival mode.
In the center of the area is a pedestal, on top of which the players spawn.
Optionaly there is a pillar prepared to carry a beacon on a 3x3 platform.
There is a globe hovering over the spawn center made out of colored glass and magma (lava) inside as the core.
Below the surface there is a small room of pillars with a Nether Portal connection in the center of the place consisting of 2 entrances/portals. The area may be extended for some further improvements, ie. public hub, rules board, villager shops, public enchanting room, etc.
The area is fully safe from monster spawning + anti-spider walls (spiders may not climb up the walls and assassinate players to death from above). However the Entrances are not totaly monster-proof (a piston contraption can be implemented though). 3 of the 4 entrances have some anti-mob AI protection, so they are not able to enter the spawn area, but the Wilderness gate is open to danger, make sure to add some doors or gates, fences, w/e... for more security. The baby zombies may still be able to get in, so watch out.

I did not counted it, there are a lot of details, stairs, etc. Main build materials are Sandstones, Stained Red Clay, Bricks, Mossy Stonebricks and Mossy Cobblestone, Netherbricks, Acacia, Dark Oak, Birch and Spruce Wood planks, Brich/Dark Oak wood logs, Smoothstone, Obsidian, Quartz, Iron Bars, Vines, Dirt, Grass/Vegetation, water, lava, Colored Glass (dark blue, dark green, white, brown), Beacon (Optional), Glowstones,...
