Not using this mod can cause chunks that have not been loaded to regenerate. This is the same for updating to 1.17. I will upload a 1.17 version very soon.
The world
This world is a complete replica of Rays Works' ProtoSky series. All blocks have been removed in all 3 dimensions with the exception of two starting blocks in the nether and overworld, and the main island with majority of endstone removed. Shulkers and item frames containing elytras have not been removed however item frames will pop off in a few seconds and the elytra will despawn in the void if not picked up quickly.
This download keeps all the spawn chunks in the overworld as it respawns you in the nether, and there is no worldborder meaning it is infinite.
What is ProtoSky?
ProtoSky is a series started by Rays Works which can be found below. I highly recommend watching the first video, you will need a lot of knowledge to even know where to start. Even with almost nothing to start, you can still obtain almost (up to 99% of) every item in the game.
To make up for the fact that this will be played in singleplayer we have changed a few rules, however that can be easily removed.
1) keepInventory is enabled
To disable:
/gamerule keepInventory false
2) RandomTickSpeed is set to 60. The default is 3. This makes random events such as vines growing or the time it takes for rain to fill a cauldron 20 times faster. It does not affect spawn mechanics.
To disable:
/gamerule randomTickSpeed 3
3) The starting crimson nylium does not turn to netherrack due to blocks being above it. It can however, still be mined
edit: if the crimson nylium somehow turns to netherrack because of bad timing, just place a block above it. there shouldnt be any way to gain extra netherrack/crimson nylium through this change.
To disable:
Remove the datapack in the world folder > datapacks > TickSpeed
