Duck's Useful Recipes

This mod is compatible with Palworld update patch: 0.1.4.1

This mod adds in 513 new and useful recipe changes to the game as of version 1.5.0.

There are three versions of this mod:

  • Main - Has all the new recipes listed below.
  • Instant Craft - Has all the new recipes listed below, but all new and existing recipes have a 0.01 work amount.
  • Half Speed - Has all the recipes listed in below, but all new and existing recipes have half of the work amount.


Currently, this mod adds the following new recipes:

  • Ore [Crusher] (15 Stone -> 1 Ore)
  • Sulfur [Crusher] (20 Stone -> 1 Sulfur)
  • Coal [Crusher] (25 Stone -> 1 Coal)
  • Quartz [Crusher] (30 Stone -> 1 Quartz)
  • Wool [Crusher] (1 Cloth/High Quality Cloth -> 2/10 Wool)
  • Pal Fluid [Mill] (1 Ice Organ -> 5 Pal Fluid)
  • Pal Oil [Mill] (10 Coal -> 1 Pal Oil)
  • Cement [High Quality Workbench or Better] (75 Stone + 1 IceOrgan + 1 Bone -> 10 Cement)
  • Nails [Primitive Workbench or Better] (1 Refined Ingot/1 Pal Metal Ingot -> 4/6 Nails)
  • Refined Ingot [Improved Furnace or Better] (1 Ingot + 2 Coal/4 Charcoal-> Refined Ingot) (Allows you to reuse already smelted Ingots)
  • Pal Metal Ingot [Electric Furnace] (2 Ingot + 4 Paldium Crystal -> 1 Pal Metal Ingot) (Allows you to reuse already smelted Ingots)
  • Gunpowder [High Quality Workbench or Better] (2 Charcoal + 1 Flame Organ -> 2 Gunpowder)
  • Mega Sphere [Sphere Workbench or Better] (Allows you to reuse spheres from previous tier)
  • Giga Sphere [Sphere Workbench or Better] (Allows you to reuse spheres from previous tier)
  • Hyper Sphere [Sphere Assembly Line or Better] Allows you to reuse spheres from previous tier)
  • Ultra Sphere [Sphere Assembly Line 2] (Allows you to reuse spheres from previous tier)
  • Legendary Sphere [Sphere Assembly Line 2] (Allows you to reuse spheres from previous tier)
  • Cake [Cooking Pot or Better] (5 Flour + 6 Baked Berries + 7 Milk + 8 Egg + 2 Honey)
  • Bronze Key [High Quality Workbench or Better] (10 Ingots + 25 Paldium Crystals)
  • Silver Key [Production Assembly Line or Better] (10 Refined Ingots + 50 Paldium Crystals)
  • Gold Key [Production Assembly Line II] (10 Pal Metal Ingots + 100 Paldium Crystals)
  • Small Pal Soul [High Quality Workbench or Better] (100 Paldium Crystal + 20 Pal Fluid + 15 Pal Oil)
  • Medium Pal Soul [Production Assembly Line or Better] (250 Paldium Crystal + 75 Pal Fluid + 50 Pal Oil)
  • Large Pal Soul [Production Assembly Line II] (500 Paldium Crystal + 150 Pal Fluid + 85 Pal Oil)
  • 6 Recycled Gunpowder Recipes [High Quality Workbench or Better] (You can break down ammo back into ONLY Gunpowder)
  • 135 New Ingot Recipes [Primitive Furnace or Better] (You can break down certain items back into ONLY Ingots)
  • 65 New Refined Ingot recipe [Improved Furnace or Better] (You can break down certain items back into ONLY Refined Ingots)
  • 29 New Pal Metal Ingot recipe [Electric Furnace] (You can break down certain items back into ONLY PM Ingots)
  • 3 Beautiful Flower Recipes [Medieval Medicine Workbench or Better] (You can break down medicines back into ONLY Beautiful Flowers)
  • 6 Horn Recipes [Medieval Medicine Workbench or Better] (You can break down medicines back into ONLY Horns)
  • 7 Bone Recipes [Medieval Medicine Workbench or Better] (You can break down medicines back into ONLY Bones)
  • 4 Pal Fluid Recipes [Mill] (You can break down medicines back into ONLY Pal Fluid)
  • 34 Ice Organ Recipes [Crusher] (You can break down different items back into ONLY Ice Organs)
  • 45 Fire Organ Recipes [Crusher] (You can break down different items back into ONLY Fire Organs)
  • 6 Venom Organ Recipes [Crusher] (You can break down different items back into ONLY Venom Organs)
  • 7 Electric Organ Recipes [Crusher] (You can break down different items back into ONLY Ice Organs)
  • 140 Leather Recipes [Crusher] (You can break down different items back into ONLY Leather)
  • Faster Food Cooking (All cook times halved)
  • Cheaper and Easier Medicine Recipes (7 recipe changes in total)

  • Meat -> Leather
  • Any others that I come up with or are suggested.


STEAM INSTALLATION
1. Download and unzip the version of the mod you want..
2. Navigate to following folder in your Steam Library folder: Palworld\Pal\Content\Paks\~mods
(Note: If "~mods" folder does not exist, create the "~mods" folder)
3. Place the .PAK file from the version you downloaded into the "~mods" folder.
4. Start your game!

DEDICATED SERVER NOTE
For a dedicated server through Steam, you must follow the same instructions as above but in your dedicated server directory.

ALL CLIENTS AND THE SERVER NEED THE MOD TO WORK.

MOD CONFLICTS NOTE
There is a chance that this mod won't work if you have a mod that changes, adds, or modifies recipes in any way. Be sure to check what your other mods change if you don't believe that this mod is working correctly!

Mods that change the following game files WON'T be compatible with this mod:

  • DA_StaticItemDataAsset
  • DT_ItemRecipeDataTable

EXISTING SAVE NOTE
This mod has been tested on an already existing singleplayer and multiplayer save and should work fine. If your game crashes when loading in, fully
closing the game and re-opening it should prevent the game from crashing further. It may also take a few crashes for the game to understand how to load the new recipes properly.

OTHER INSTALLATION
For other non-Steam installations, you'll have to find out how to do it yourself. Sorry!
