Eight players, one heavily defended base, and an onslaught of berserk Zerg.
The premise: On a fringe world, far from most of the conflicts of the Terran, Protoss and Zerg, a strange but rich deposit of minerals was found. Though exhibiting abnormal mineral readings, the minerals were deemed safe by Terran Officials, promptly colonizing it with mining operations, and initially very light defense. Recently, military officials also sent a research division to relocate to that recently charted planet, carrying important experimental technology dealing with energized suits, super soldiers and more classified projects to be hidden from conflict.
Unfortunately, the Terran were far from the first there. The Zerg, unbeknown-st to the Terrans, had arrived long before them, but were immediately afflicted by the mineral's readings. Driven berserk by the mineral's emissions, the Zerg forces stopped responding to higher commands, retreated to the remote corners of the planet, hibernated and started evolving in unnaturally accelerated ways. They had formed their own independence.
The arrival of Terran presence generated enough disturbance to awaken the crazed and advanced Zerg, causing the colony to come under heavy attack. With no reinforcements for some time, the bases' survival rests with the minerals resources, a reachable mercenary outpost in space and the research divison's tricks: powered combat suits, unreal technologies and eight super soldiers.
You, are one of the soldiers. The team is set: one Commander, three Combat Logisticians and four Combat Specialists. Become either the tactical Commander, issuing orders, using special powers and recruiting mercs. Become a Combat Logistician, an engineer unit capable of building, repairing, upgrading and healing others. Or become a Combat Specialist, wielding one of four suits at any time and fighting for dear life, as the Zerg pound at your gates...with so much time until backup arrives.
You will need teamwork. Alot of it.
