Hey Starcraft community,
I'll give a short introduction... My name is Eric and i come from The Netherlands, i started mapping about 5 months ago and my first project was altering a desert strike map, which turned in to a desert strike hero map. Anyhow since starcraft and warcraft ive been fascinated by the variaty of maps and never really knew how they were created til starcraft 2 came out and i started exploring the editor.
So, i have created this new map which mainly envolves battles between hero's and dominating towers on the map. I saw a lot of people make youtube movies about their map so i also decided to make a little introduction video. I haven't had the chance to play the map with over 4 players yet but i assume the more the merrier so i hope in the future more people will play it. Just have a quick look at the video, tell me what you think, and i hope you will play it sometime. Not all the upgrades are in the video yet i still need to work on a lot but i thought it was good enough to publish, only available on European server.
Too bad pretty much all players choose Raynor in this battle, but i didn't have any other replay .. this is btw the first video i ever put together, hope you guys like it.
Here are just some random important game facts:
- Standing near a tower will increase your score limit, when 2 players of the same team stand near the score amount will be doubled.
- Whenever you kill a hero from a different team you receive 500 mineral bonus.
- Whenever your hero dies your infantry units will also wipe.
- You can not use your unit calldown tab inside your spawn.
- Life and speed boosts will drop randomly on the battlefield about every 40 seconds.
- The ability upgrades are overall pretty cheap cause you'll need them early game.
- You can always check your minimap to see which tower is activated.
- Reach the score limit to win the game.
Things im still working on:
- The forcefield only blocks the path for infantry atm, i do not yet know why this doesnt work for the hero units yet.
- Rarely but sometimes a player can blink outside of the platform, still need to work on that.
- I'm still adding new infantry units, upgrades and abilities to the map.
- Whenever a tower actives it gets a "visual shield" around it, this actually just visual and thinking about making the shield actually work.

•Whenever a tower actives a shield item will drop behind the tower, so if your the first there you can quickly pick it up.(you can see it in the bottom right corner of the screenshot).
